ORGANIC GREEN LENTILS; Lentil (lens culinaris) is one of the 4 species of the genus lens in the legume (fabaceae) family. Although all species in the lens genus are collectively referred to as “lentils” due to their lens-like shapes and edible seeds, lens culinaris is the most common and frequently consumed type of lentils when it comes to “lentils”. Unlike the ball shape of other lentils, green lentils, which have a flatter shape, are quite delicious and rich in nutrients.
